I feel a little bit bad because this week was the first time in like 3 weeks when I was home, just me, no Josh, no Joel, thinking, “Yeah, let’s spend time with housemates,” but then I just ended up moping around being sick and watching a lot of Avatar.

But just a little.  Mostly, YES.  Portland in 5 hours.  Yes.

Tomorrow, Portland.  Train adventure.  Yes.  Sometimes I legitimately feel like I’m living in two different cities.  And it’s really fun.  I will be sad when life catches up with me and I have to be a real adult with a job and can’t just decide to run away to Powell’s Joel’s apartment for a week.

And we’re going to see the Head and the Heart open for the Shins on Friday night.  Oh.  My.  Goodness.

And then Jill is coming down to play in Portland on Saturday.  And I just get to spend this weekend with my three favorite people in the whole world, whose names all happen to start with J, and that’s a really great end to a week that was filled with not sleeping and congestion and spiders in my bed.
