Can we just not be so mean to each other?
We have opinions for a while, then we’re enlightened and we change, so what do we do? Treat people who aren’t on the same page as us like shit?If someone disagrees with you about something,they usually honestly think they’re right.They aren’t choosing to be an asshole.
Most people don’t walk around going “I know [insert issue of choice] is wrong, but it’s FUN!”
Yeah, there’s a couple, but we can’t know what else is going on.We’re supposed to be against bullying. I don’t care WHAT someone believes, no matter how horrendous it is. They are still people. And for all you know, you might believe some really terrible stuff - you just won’t realize it for a couple years.
I’ll forget this all in five minutes, but I just wanted to get it out.
You can all be very cruel sometimes, and over the most trivial shit.(Extra: if you don’t like something, don’t become involved with it. If it’s a show, don’t watch it. If it’s a movie, don’t watch it. If it’s a book, don’t read it. If it’s a song, don’t listen to it. Unless you have a STRONG moral objection to said material, you are just being rude. You don’t know what it might mean to someone.)

I feel a little bit bad because this week was the first time in like 3 weeks when I was home, just me, no Josh, no Joel, thinking, “Yeah, let’s spend time with housemates,” but then I just ended up moping around being sick and watching a lot of Avatar.
But just a little. Mostly, YES. Portland in 5 hours. Yes.
